The Stone Ridge Montessori Toddler Program recognizes that these early months of a child’s life are among the most important – they are the foundation upon which all future learning is constructed. As such, our Toddler Program is carefully designed to meet each child’s unique developmental requirements, interests, and abilities.
Specifically, our Toddler Program focuses on supporting and advancing the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of each child. This enables our students to progress as rapidly as possible, learning to their full potential. Stone Ridge Montessori toddlers routinely exhibit early and consistent signs of impressive growth, particularly regarding speech and language development.
Additionally, our students display evidence of both fine and gross motor skill development, as they learn to explore both their inner and outer worlds (family, culture, environment, classroom, etc.).
Based on the child’s readiness, our highly trained teachers implement various Montessori lessons to develop skills, abilities and traits. Our students work with Montessori materials designed to enhance the child’s sensory recognition, concentration, coordination, language skills, responsibility, and respect.
Even at this young age, Stone Ridge Montessori Toddlers learn about class dynamics, construction, and routine. All of these elements are consistent across all our programs. Since the typical Stone Ridge Montessori student remains enrolled for 6 years, this foundational familiarity is key. This lessens any transitional anxiety as a student quickly adjusts to their new classroom. The students simply become more advanced and mature as does their classroom environment. This is the master principle behind our unrivaled student success, growth, and advancement.
